It's Stupid to Eat Like That

Weekend News

It's stupid to eat like that

You know what's amazing?

I keep discovering that most people — despite knowing better, despite understanding that good nutrition is critical for health, and even though they eat plenty of healthy food — still eat foods that hurt their health, their energy, and how they look. Every single day.

And I'm not saying that to point fingers or call people imperfect.

I'm always surprised that even people who avoid junk food don't realize that the bigger damage comes from everyday staples — bread, dairy, and the rest.

I'm saying it because in a world where so many people suffer from their health — obesity, cancer, thyroid issues, PCOS, pigmentation, pain, skin issues, inflammation, chronic and autoimmune disease (let alone dependence on medications with their own side effects) —

eating processed food is the stupidest thing a person can do.

And eating right is the single most life-improving thing a person can do.

Proper nutrition slows the growth of cancer cells. It lowers inflammation. It lowers blood sugar. It strengthens the immune system. It improves mood. It feeds the cells. It improves fertility. It keeps pregnancies safe. It creates a healthy metabolism. It even makes the sun nourishing.

But let's be clear: it's not the food that "heals."

Food does something deeper — it creates conditions.

Conditions in which the body stops fighting itself.

And then the body can do what it knows how to do — beautifully — the wise work of filtering, cleaning, building, refining, and ordering.

You know what the real source of all disease is?

The first is toxins. The source of most illness in the world is toxins.

In two forms:

  • You put toxins into your body through food, creams, perfumes, clothes, the air, injections, pills, and so on.
  • You generate toxins inside yourself through your thinking — criticism, hate, resentment, belittling, surrender, fear.

The second source comes from Ayurveda — it's the concept of balance, or rather: excesses, deficiencies, and imbalance.

Excesses — too much food, alcohol, exercise, sleep, sun, anger, stress.

Deficiencies — nutritional deficiencies, lack of sleep, lack of sun, lack of movement, lack of love.

Imbalance — too much work / too little leisure. Too much exercise / too little rest. Too much noise (parties, big cities, construction) / too little quiet. Too much concrete / too little nature.

The beauty is that you can clear all of this — through a change in who you are.

That's why you're never a victim of your own health.

That's how I healed myself. Not because I was looking for magic — but because I stopped running from responsibility for my choices.

Because I understood that being healthy is what lets me chase my dreams. And that if I'm not healthy, I become a burden on myself and on the people around me.

How can you take care of others if you don't take care of yourself? How can you do good if you don't feel good?

Investing in yourself is the best investment there is.

Self-discipline and constant care for body, mind, and spirit are essential if you want to live as your higher self and in line with your dreams.

Want to actually understand what to eat to be healthy? I teach all of it in an accessible, light, and interesting way — in the Gut Rules course.

Happy new year

The new year is a great opportunity to look honestly at your life and at the year that passed, and ask:

  • Did I move in the direction that's right for me? Or not?
  • Am I closer to the person I want to be?

If yes — amazing. It's worth pausing for a second to remind yourself of that. People do a lot and rarely take a moment to feel it.

Let me tell you something that happened in the past few days that, for me, was worth the entire year.

I'm staying in Sri Lanka in a guest unit owned by a lovely (Israeli) family. The mother told me about heartburn she's been dealing with and about challenges in her sexuality. I gifted her our Menopause course, and within a few days she's telling me how many insights she has about how she's been living and choosing badly — even though for years all kinds of "healthy" ideas were planted in her head that did her more harm than good.

But forget the past.

Then comes the opportunity to think and plan:

  • How do I want this coming year to look? People, income, emotional state, creation.

You write it all down to give it space in your consciousness.

You write to create awareness. You write to plan. You write so it'll happen.

Instead of letting life happen to you — become the creator.
