Why You Should Avoid Seed Oils
In recent years the topic of seed oils has been making headlines all over the world.
Maybe it's because they're the most popular oils in the world today, since they're cheaper and are aggressively marketed as ideal for cooking and "heart healthy."
The oils in question are canola, soybean oil, "vegetable" oil, sunflower oil and grapeseed oil, which entered the Western diet at the start of the last century as a substitute for the animal fat human beings had consumed throughout all of evolution.
So how did seed oils become so popular? Seed oils came into our world when the businessmen at Procter & Gamble wanted to find a cheaper alternative to animal fat. And they succeeded by bribing their way into the health, nutrition and academic organizations, the fast-food companies, and the stores that sell us food.
The processed food companies (seed oils are ultra-processed) have been funding nutrition research for over a hundred years. So it's no wonder you'll find studies telling you processed food isn't harmful, and this reaches the highest levels of governments around the world.
Lobbyists for food, cigarette and drug companies control all the narratives and the research.
The reason seed oils have made headlines in recent years is thanks to social media.
Doctors, researchers and creators around the world have started to share, with anyone willing to know, that these refined oils are the main cause of
heart disease, oxidative damage, Alzheimer's, diabetes and especially inflammation in the body. (Studies below.) Meanwhile the companies that brought seed oils to center stage are making every effort to enlist every media outlet, from the establishment press to dietitians and fitness trainers, to try to convince people back that these oils aren't harmful.
So why are they so harmful? Vegetable fat is created from toxic waste scraps, or in other words, "food" scraps no one knew what to do with. What do you do with grape seeds? What do you do with a plant called rapeseed (canola) that no one needs because it's genetically engineered? Same goes for corn and soy (genetic engineering).
Need to do something with them? That's how seed oils were and are created. Because unlike oils from fruits like olive or coconut, or animal fat, which are easy to access, you can't cold-press oil out of these plants.
So what do you do?
Step 1: You collect seeds from their plants. Waste scraps or genetically engineered plants.
Step 2: The seeds are heated to especially high temperatures. This is done for sterilization purposes, and it causes the unsaturated fatty acids in the seeds to oxidize, creating free radicals that seriously harm health.
Step 3: The seeds are usually processed with a petroleum-based solvent, such as hexane, to maximize the amount of oil extracted from them.
Step 4: Chemicals are used to remove the smell of the oils, which have an undesirable odor after extraction.
The deodorization process creates trans fats, which are known to be harmful to health.
Step 5: More chemicals are added to make the color of the industrial seed oils neutral and more appealing. (Bleaching that creates a clear oil.) In other words, refining.
The process is sickening.
Before I get into the explanation and the studies that will clearly show you the reality.
I want to offer you an invitation, or a way, to know when something is true and when something isn't.
For most of evolution, human beings consumed animal fat.
Until the invention of seed oils, even McDonald's fried their fries and burgers in beef tallow.
Contrary to the prevailing opinion, animal fat doesn't create disease, and it's easy to confirm this information: even though people consume less animal fat and more seed oils, heart disease is only on the rise.
When people, "experts" or corporations try to give you information as a gift, but what's really happening is they're trying to sell you a product or an idea, that's where there's room for doubt.
Meanwhile, all the people in the world speaking out against seed oils are only warning you, not selling anything beyond the opportunity to wake up and protect your health in a world where disease is sharply on the rise all the time.
So the formula is this:
1. If they're trying to sell you something, it's probably not good for you. 2. If the thing doesn't come in its original form from nature, it's not good for you.
But forget that, let's talk about the science.
Why pile on words when you can pile on unfunded studies?
1. Seed oils are high in omega-6. That means high levels of inflammation. Inflammation is the basis of most diseases.

2. Seed oils create oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is responsible for inflammation and most diseases.

3. Seed oils are responsible for Alzheimer's.

4. Seed oils are responsible for skin damage from sun radiation.

I could keep going with studies until further notice.
But here's an opportunity to introduce you to smart people who don't serve corporate interests.
Here are some respected doctors speaking out against seed oils.
It goes without saying that anyone trying to promote seed oils is either getting funding from food companies, or has already consumed too many of them and lost the ability to think independently.
These are things that usually happen with dietitians and fitness trainers, who are taught what the food industry wants them to know, and that's how "experts" push processed foods onto their clients.
Because they were taught that "everything's fine in moderation."
